The program director at Cozy Corner's
is Chris VanBuskirk. She has over 15 years experience in early childhood
education. She has an Associates degree in early Childhood Education at St.
Clair Community College. Ms Chris also has earned a Ross Medical Certificate in
Medical Technician. Ms Chris has attended 72 hours in Advanced
Child Care Training Program with Michigan State University: of
attending NAEYC Education Conference since 1997and is also a member of NAEYC. Ms
Chris has received training in CPR and First Aid with
America Red Cross.
Ms Chris had 5 years experience working
with Community Mental Health. She ran in home day care for 6 years prior to
opening Cozy Corner Child Care Center in May of 1999. She has brought Cozy
Corner through accreditation, setting the highest standards in early childhood
education.
Ms Chris was instrumental in
starting Child Care for a single Mom's group at her Church. She is involved with
a Mom's mentoring program with Bridge Builders, Blue Water Pregnancy Care
Center, Toy for Tots, Coats for Kids, March of Dimes, Muscular Dystrophy, Breast
Cancer, and MADD. She also volunteers
countless hours to both Girl and Boys Scouts of America.
Ms Chris has taught classes at St. Clair
County Community College, Baker College, and The ARC of St. Clair. She has also
advocated for early childhood education in the local, state, and Federal
Government. She is an active member of the Great Start Collaborative through
Regional Education Service Agency.
In her spare time Ms
Chris enjoys camping, hiking, canoeing, biking, scrap-booking, reading. She
loves Roller Coasters, shopping and playing with her grandchildren.

Lead
teacher: Ms
Joyann has earned her Child Development
Associate Credential. She has attained First Aid and CPR training and
Certification. Ms Joyann also participates in Monthly training given at Cozy Corner Child
Care
Center. She has been at Cozy since January of 2003.
Previous to working
at Cozy Corner, Ms Joyann worked at another Childcare center for 5 years
in the Infant/Toddler Room. Ms. Joyann was a fulltime childcare provider for 2 little
girls for ten years before working in the centers. She also taught Sunday
School for years and took care of church finances for 25 years. She also
attend bi-monthly PTO Meetings.
In her spare time
she loves Antiques, attending the Symphony Orchestra, spending time with
her family, and watching the Freighters in the river. She and her husband
have several toy collections and love taking short 1 to 2 days trips. And
of course, she LOVES children!

Ms. Kristin
started with us in January of 08 as a teachers assistant. She has a
Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Community Services with an
Infant and Young Children Emphasis and has a Health Promotion
Specialization. She was a member of her Student Council, was
awarded a Michigan Merit Award Scholarship, Achievement Award for
Academic Excellence and was a member of the National Honor Society.
She has
experience working with the Elderly along with being a Teacher's Aid
for Port Huron Schools. Ms. Kristin also worked as a Volunteer
Caregiver for young mothers while they attended high school. In her
spare time she enjoys snow skiing, scuba diving, boating and
relaxing on the beach.

Ms. Kayla
joined us in February of 08 as a teachers assistant. She graduated
from Faith Baptist Academy, where she also helped in the day
care and is currently attending Midwestern Baptist College in
Pontiac.
Ms. Kayla has CPR training, knows sign
language and enjoys working with "baby signs". She loves
instrumental music and enjoys composing piano music. Also enjoys
reading, composing poetry and short stories and going fishing.

Lead
Teacher-Ms. Vicki after
completing High School, has attended college for administrative Law
Office. She received formal training by the
St. Clair Health Department and has been certified in Basic First Aid, CPR
for adults, children, and infants. She also participates in specialty
classes for infants and through 4 C's. Ms Vicki also participates in Monthly training given at Cozy Corner Child
Care
Center. Attends yearly NAEYC Conferences and satellite classes. Ms Vicki
had four year previous Day Care experience prior to employment with Cozy
Corner in April of 2001. She is the mother of two grown sons!
She
volunteers for Toys for tots, March of Dimes-Blue and Pink for babies.
Ms. Vicki's hobbies are reading, watching movies, and playing games with her family.

Ms.
Jami is a High School graduate of Marysville High School and
attended St Clair County Technical School for Child Care at the Marysville
Children's Center. She also participates in Monthly training given at Cozy Corner Child
Care
Center. Ms Jami has also received training in First Aid and CPR. She has
been at Cozy since January of 2003.
Ms Jami loves to
volunteer to take care of her family and friends children when she is not
busy working. In her spare time,
Ms Jami likes going to the movies, and just hanging out with her son Tyler
and husband Chad.
In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering
for March of Dimes, and being involved with Pink and Blue Jeans for Babies!

Ms Tina has acquired two diplomas from the
Professional Career Institute for Teacher's Aide in preschool teaching and
Child Daycare aide and health from Atlanta, GA. Miss Tina also has
earned a Medical Assistant and Medical Billing Transcription.
She has been a part of Cozy since November of 2005.Ms Tina has over 15 years experience
working with children of all ages. She loves children and is a mother herself!
She is comfortable working with special needs children. She has experience
working previously in the day care setting. She loves to volunteer for
activities with children at her church, and has fun working at school
carnivals with her nieces and nephews.
When she has extra time, she enjoys
spending time with her son and family, writing, singing, reading, crafts,
Church and Bible Study.

Ms
Nicole was a teachers aide in 2001-2002 school
year for a 3rd Grade class at Michigamme Elementary School. She has
attended classes such as parenting, and child development classes. She
also attending St Clair Community College for a degree in business
management with a minor in Childhood Development. Ms Nicole attends
monthly training at Cozy Corner. She also attended the NAEYC Conference
in 2005. Ms Nicole is CPR/First Aide certified and has been employed at
Cozy Corner since February of 2004.
She enjoys
volunteering every year in the March of Dimes "Walk America",
Toys for Tots, and Blue jeans for babies. When
Ms Nicole isn't working she enjoys spending time with her Fiancé',
playing with her nieces and nephews, collecting teddy bears, beanie
babies, and playing with her cats, Patches, Stitch, and Spooky. She also
loves reading Harry Potter books. |

Lead
Teacher-Ms Heather has obtained an Associates degree is Early
childhood education from St. Clar County Community College. She has just
recently completed her Bachelor's Degree in Child Development from
Madonna University. She has earned her CDA (Child
Development Associate) Her training also includes Basic and
Advanced 4C's Training, CPR and First Aide classes. Ms Heather enjoys participating in monthly training given at Cozy Corner, and has attended NAYEC Training.
Ms Heather has been with Cozy since March of 2000.
Ms Heather's work experience includes
working for Head Start infant / toddler classroom. She was also a director
for another school age program.
Ms Heather's hobbies are scrap booking,
photography, bike riding, shopping, and computers.
She also fills her time by assisting with a special needs Bible Class,
cooking, doing yard work and traveling.

Ms Dana started at Cozy Corner in June of 2005, with one year
previous experience. She is currently attending St. Clair County Community
College. She has attended monthly training as well as seminars on autism and
discipline strategies. She is certified in first aid and CPR. Ms Dana s a High School Graduate,
and attends monthly
training given at Cozy Corner.
The third Thursday of every other month,
Ms Dana heads Cozy Corner's Parent Teacher Organization meetings. Ms Dana has done volunteer work collecting
food for food drives and Relay for Life. and March of Dimes.
Ms Dana takes pride in her family,
especially her son. Lucas. In her spare time she loves to read and scrapbook!

Ms.
Jessica started at Cozy Corner in January of 08 with plenty of early
childhood experience. She is currently attending St. Clair
Community College and has also attended Western Michigan University
and Indiana Wesleyan University. She is in the process of changing
her major from Nursing to Early Childhood Education and has 6 years
of childcare experience from volunteering in the nursery at her
church to Lead Teacher in a toddler class.
Ms. Jessica has CPR training and a
wealth of new project ideas, games and creative ways to make
learning fun.
Her spare time is spent with family
and friends and she loves to travel.

Teacher-Ms. Susie has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Human Resource Development with concentration in Youth and Adult services
from Oakland University. She also possesses and American Montessori
certification for pre-primary. Ms Susie has attended several Autism
seminars.She has 17 years experience at a
Montessori School in St Clair. Fours years as an aide in the pre-primary
impaired room for Marysville Schools. Ms Susie also volunteers as a Cub
Scout Leader. Ms. Susie has been employed at Cozy Corner since August of
2005.
In her spare time she loves spending time with her family,
reading, bike riding, and traveling. |

Ms Melissa is attending St Clair
Community College working towards her CDA (Child Development Associate) and
associates in Early Child-hood Education. She also participates in Cozy
Corner Monthly Training. Ms Melissa has been with us since March of 2006.Ms Melissa's work experience includes
Marysville Children's Center, and was also employed at the St Clair
Medilodge in their daycare program.
She has volunteered at YMCA Nursery School
for one semester. |

| Ms Lisa after graduating from Port Huron High School in
2006 was employed at another Child Care Center gaining experience. While in
High School, Lisa spent two years as a Teachers Aid for a Kindergarten
Class. She has been babysitting since she was 13years old and helped
raise her sister and brother. Lisa's hobbies
are scrap booking, spending time outdoors, cooking and playing with her cat,
Sweetie.

| Ms. Jessica
is a teacher's assistance in the Preschool II and Latchkey rooms since May
of 2006. She attends Central Michigan University working toward a teaching
degree.
Ms Jessica work experience includes
assisting with a in-home family day care business. She volunteer coaches
basketball and volleyball at Marysville Rec Center and Central Michigan
University.
Ms Jessica's hobbies include all sports! |

| Ms Allison is a teacher's assistant and has been employed
by Cozy since May of 2007. She is attending Saginaw Valley College pursuing
a teaching degree. Her work experience includes
working at a family in home day care. In her spare time she love
volunteering at Marysville City Recreation Program, and playing volleyball. |

Ms Joyce...will answer parent questions and
any billing inquiries. She has been with Cozy since May of 2007. Ms Joyce's'
education includes business courses at Central Michigan University, and
early educational administration at SC4.
Her work experience includes purchasing, accounts
receivable and payable for over 12 years. She has worked in the child care
setting, is a Girl Scout leader, 4H Clown Club, and has 2 children and 4
grandchildren.
Ms Joyce volunteer work includes a family Bluegrass
Festival, and Fundraising for Scleroderma Foundation.
Her hobbies include trying to train her two Huskies for
sledding, and model railroading with her grandsons. |

Mr. Len possesses an Associates Degree in General Education.
He has honorably served our Country in the Air Force for 4 years and the Air
National Guard for 1 year. Len also works with BMJ Surveyors in Port Huron.
He loves to volunteer in the community, and when he has
spare time he loves to fish, read, draw, paint. He stays active working on
wood working projects, hiking and roller-blading. Len is married and loves
playing with his new daughter. |
